The skies were overcast, the temperature 49 degrees as we left Jeffersonville Vermont this morning. We drove south on highways 108 and 100 toward I-89. Once again we were amazed by the beauty of God's creation on this Sunday morning. It was a perfect way to praise God as we traveled, marveling at the stunning beauty of the hills, mountains, rivers, streams, trees and amazing colors. As we crossed into New Hampshire the colors were even more vivid. By that time there was a bit of precipitation that kept me from taking pictures through the windshield. I made a couple of attempts out the side window but the speed on the interstate and the inability to just pull over and take pictures as we had on the side roads prevented me from getting many good pictures today. However, the images are etched in our minds and I don't think pictures would do justice to the magnificence of what God blessed us with today.

What a great guard rail. NO! I just missed the pretty river and colors.
My attempt of a photo through the mist.
We stopped for lunch after crossing into Massachusetts, then headed to Boston to our hotel VERY near the airport.
The view out our 6th floor window
We traveled about 220 miles today, it was a pleasant drive to Boston but we were VERY thankful to have GPS to help us get to the hotel in the middle of the airport area. Tonight we meet here with our bus tour group and will begin our tour tomorrow. We spent some time reorganizing our luggage, parking our car and relaxing. We look forward to the blessings of the week!
